I'm pretty sure I'm taking this weekend a bit easy, trying to rest/save money before going away on tour (even if it's only for just over a week, I anticipate it beating the heck out of me, for reasons of food and partying). Plus hopefully this way I'll get some other things done, and go over the Strait A's set some more.

BUT - I can still take the time to direct you to this week's edition of the Razorcake Podcast, which is guest hosted my good friend Jo Stockton. Really, really funny about all of this: The first time we actually met was on a reading tour a few years ago, when I set them up with a reading/acoustic show in New Brunswick - to which Jo introduced herself by saying "It's so great to be here in New Brunswick, New York." With all of the "New Jersey is the greatest place to live in the world" locals in attendance, needless to say there were some loud groans.

So, while I don't want to post spoilers for the podcast, about halfway in the topic of poutine comes up, which Jo explains as a snack found mainly in Canada, "and apparently New Jersey, according to my friend Man of Infirmity."

The beauty of this? She's referring to a place I told her about, that also serves poutine - In New York. Needless to say, once I realized it, I found that incredibly amusing.

Seriously though, you know I am just kidding Jo! I still want to see Canada! And everyone else, check that podcast out.

any podcast that talks about cheese curds and french fries has to be funny
